Chawton Cottage, Hampshire, England - September 2011
Jane Austen's literary home. It was in this cottage that she finished working on Sense & Sensibility (1811) and Pride & Prejudice (1813).
In Come Looking for Me, Emily reads Sense & Sensibility to Gus Walby and Magpie. When she leaves the beloved crew of HMS Isabelle to return to England, Fly Austen (Jane's seafaring brother, Francis) gifts his sister's newly-published volumes of Pride & Prejudice to her.
